     Custom home costs in Las Cruces typically range approximately from $230 to $350+ per square foot depending on finishes, lot conditions, and design complexity. A 2,500 sq. ft. home generally starts around $570,000–$800,000 for full custom construction. We provide detailed cost estimates during the design phase so there are no surprises at the contract stage.  

     Every project is different, but most custom homes take approximately 10 to 16 months from the start of design through construction completion. Factors such as permitting, architectural complexity, weather, material availability, and client selections can affect the overall timeline.  

     Yes. We regularly build on client-owned lots throughout Las Cruces and surrounding communities. We also evaluate your property for orientation, topography, utilities, drainage, and HOA requirements to help maximize your home's design potential before construction begins.  

     Absolutely. If you have not yet purchased a lot, we can help evaluate available properties and recommend locations that fit your budget, lifestyle, and architectural goals. We work with local real estate professionals and can help determine whether a property is suitable for your future home.  

     We do not provide financing options directly, but we work with reputable lenders who offer a variety of financing options for our clients. 

     Yes. We prepare and coordinate architectural submissions for many homeowners' associations throughout Southern New Mexico. We work closely with clients to help ensure plans comply with community design guidelines before construction begins.  

     Yes. We can build from plans you already own, collaborate with your architect or designer, or create a fully custom design through our architecturally driven design-build process. We'll review your plans, discuss your goals, and determine the best path forward.  

     Organ Mesa Group proudly serves Las Cruces, Mesilla, Sonoma Ranch, Picacho Hills, Talavera, and surrounding communities throughout Southern New Mexico. We also provide selected residential and commercial construction services in West Texas.  

      Energy efficiency is built into every home we design — not added as an option. We have completed 9 LEED Platinum homes, the highest certification level from the U.S. Green Building Council. We can incorporate spray foam insulation, high-performance windows, solar, and low-E glazing. We can also build with Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), and more. 

     We encourage our clients to be as involved as they would like to be in the building process. We provide regular updates and consultations to ensure our clients are informed and satisfied with the progress of their project.
